The Slate Grey Design called ‚ÄòInner Space‚Äô with the theme of ‚Äòmysterious seclusion‚Äô, incorporated over 1400 plants supplied by Woottens of Wenhasten, 18 meters of mature Hornbeam hedging supplied by Readyhedge, grey limestone path supplied by CED, preformed steel edging supplied by Kinley Systems and David Harber‚Äôs ‚ÄòDark Planet‚Äô as a centre piece. All the hard work was rewarded on Friday 20th June when Richard Ayles of Slate Grey was awarded ‚ÄòBest in Show‚Äô and ‚ÄòGarden Designer of the Year‚Äô. The award was presented by Monty Don and Judges Tim Miles and Jim Buttress were very complimentary about the garden. The show attracted around 40,000 visitors this year and the weather was stunning – well done for all the hard work and effort put in by the Slate Grey team….
